This unit cuts in a 17-inch radius and features a split-boom curved-shaft design, heavy-duty .095-inch dual line, and bumphead line release. The SpeedSpool line replacement system is exceptionally easy to load and rewind, all without removing the spool or taking it apart. Great Product Fast Shipping The shipment arrived several day ahead of schedule and works great. The starting instructions on the label are simple to follow although a little hard to star at first. After a few minutes of operation, it took flight. With the correct fuel mix, it generates lots of power. I even trimmed some thick branches on shrub.
Poor documentation!!!! So far I'm peeved. If you follow the manual you won't be able to start this puppy. The manual describes a two position switch on the engine when actually it is a three position swith. The manual says to move lever all the way towards the primer bulb. Actually this is to stop the engine which makes the cutoff switch on the handle redundant. Correct position is in the middle. Manual says to push primer bulb 10 times!!! On taking it to service center tech pushed bulb twice (10 times will definitely flood engine) and then started and manually moved lever to third (run) position. Manual says lever moves atomatically to run position not so. Tech also says that this is actually a Ryobi that Troy-bilt has put their name on and that it is mass marketed for internet and that it isn't a very good machine. Have not used yet so can't comment on performance. Not sure if I'm going to keep it.
Of you don't have one of these here's your chance First and foremost, guys, I am a girl. This is an easy weedeater to start and it clear a path. In fact, I loved this machine so much, I cleared my neighors ditch. This was a much grown over ditch that goes all the way around their house - It took an hour. If you don't have one of these you need one. |
