Easy to setup; however since I've never used one of these I had to read the manual very careful to make sure I understood all terms used. The manual could be significantly improved by adding some figures with arrows (I had to refer to the parts exploded diagram several times).^M

Compressor shipped promptly by Amazon in factory box. No external damage to box, no damage to compressor. Maybe the box packing has changed since earlier reviews?^M
Great unit, well made, very quiet compared to the competition. Heavy but that will be solved with adding a dolly to hold the compressor and an added hose reel.^M
For what it's worth, this compressor was made in Taiwan, not Mexico as is the case for some of the competitors.

I received this compressor in excellent condition, except for a little external packaging damage. I am totally pleased with this unit's performance in my home workshop. It does everything that I need and then some. A close friend of mine has a comparable Dewalt unit, and both of us have noticed that the Makita is substantially quieter, which is very important in small enclosed work area such as mine. I highly recommend this compressor to anyone who is a home hobbist or for less demanding construction site applications. Also, it was delivered to my home sooner than the projected delivery date,... a big plus, for an impatient soul like me.Thanks again. GJM^M
