not a fan for those who enjoy quality fans

I am a college student and these fans are cheap and at Target, so most of my friends have at least one. The downside is, they are horrible, cheaply made, and downright dangerous. The base is too small for the fan, making it extremely top heavy. As a result, if the fan is on an uneven surface or ledge, like a windowsill, any jolt sends it toppling to the floor, or your head, really whatever is underneath. Moreover, it is loud, blows at very limited angles, and really doesn't move that much air. Even the cord is short. ^M

Seriously, don't buy this fan.

A great buy!

I use fans mainly for the white noise they produce (I live right next to a construction site and either wake up the minute they start or have my fan!) I've been very happy with my Honeywell fan--it's compact enough to not take up a lot of space in my bedroom, but very strong for the size. One of the few downsides I could see if that if you like your fans to be absolutely silent, this one does generate some noise (for me, that's a plus!) I've had this fan before and it's lasted for years with some heavy use. Would recommend!

couldn't find a fan in any local retail store because it is winter. not only did I find it on Amazon, but it was shipped and delivered in 2 days. great product and quick service
