Saves a lot of time and makes clean cuts

I'm in year three of residing my house with Hardie Boards. This is the first year that I've used this product. It is well-worth it. I don't know what alternatives are out there, but I was previously making custom holes the "hard way" - a utility knife as a scribe, an old chisel, a drill, and even my fiber cement shears.

But THIS tool beat them all. I was able to very cleanly, quickly, and with no breaking, make 1/2 circles to join pieces around my radon pipe, and it took seconds to make some good notches where wires/cables exited my house (and I didn't want to pull, drill, and re-run them).

This tool is also useful for square notches, but you'll never get the corners too square - a knife, etc., would still be necessary.

This gets five stars from me for the convenience it's added.
