One size fits all.

Most roll around shop bases are designed to fit one particular brand of equipment. I have some home built shop stands that I wanted to move around. This rolling base allowed me to fit my customized stands.^M

It took me a couple of tries to get the base to balance correctly. There are some general guidelines in the instructions, however I had to try a couple configurations so my tool would stay level and did not want to tip over when the wheels are engaged.^M

If you have a odd or customized tool stand, this is a good choice for the price. If you have a brand that the manufacture sells their own roll around base, then you might want to go with that model.

How pleased I am with the Mobile Bases

My husband Robert has purchased 4 of these bases from Amazon. He thinks the base is of great quality and are as good as those bases that cost much more in other stores. He is very pleased with these bases and would recommend them to anyone.

Very useful!

I ordered a second one of these mobile bases after I found the first one very useful for my table saw. I will use the second one for my sliding miter saw after I build a stand for it. The only drawback I find is that if you have the base on an uneven surface such as an older driveway, sometimes it can move slightly even in the down/locked position. This is probably only an issue w/ a table saw since you are pushing against it horizontally. Very sturdy & handy for the limited space workshop.
