Product Description

Do you need to water your lawn or garden but don't want to be bothered with running out to shut off the sprinkler system? This Gardena water timer may be just the solution you've been seeking. The small timer attaches directly to your outdoor spigot and operates similar to a conventional kitchen timer. Simply turn the dial face to the number of minutes you want your sprinkler running, and, when the time has elapsed, your system will be shut off automatically, saving you trouble and preventing the mess and damage caused by puddles. The unit also contains a quick connector that attaches to your hose and allows it to be easily and quickly joined to the timer without a lot of twisting.

What Some Customers Thought

Great concept for deep watering - 98% of the time

I bought this because I wanted to deep water my trees without forgetting. I wanted to make the accidental 8 or 20 hour watering a thing of the past. This timer works well to stop it. It is really easy to use and works great most of the time. However, a few times, maybe 1 out of 50, it does not stop on time. I think that it is when the dial is touching the ground. So make sure the dial is up and it is a great way to save water.

Gardena water timer

We have these water timers on all our hose bibbs; they have cut down on our water usage, yet made watering more efficient. (Can't space-out and forget to turn off the water...) Everyone should use them.^M

Your shipping charges, however, are another matter. What happened to the good old USPS? $20.00 to have TWO water timers shipped was totally outrageous. Are you punishing those of us who live in Hawai'i?? Please consider this; UPS and Fed^M
Ex are ripoffs.

This one is a winner

Over the past 2 and 1/2 years I've purchased and installed a total of 8 units. So far, none of them has failed. They are as simple to use as an old fashion egg timer and require no batteries. As I'm futher expanding the irrigation system in my properties, I'm presently ordering four more units. Incidentally, to avoid some discoloration of the body under direct sunlight and possibly to prevent the plastic to become brittle over time, I've built a small wooden protection around each unit.
