We like the professional quality: lightweight but rugged aluminum claws and alignment plates, protective rubber pads that won't mar your work, 1/2-inch diameter zinc-plated, cold-drawn steel screws with smooth Acme threads. The plastic handles even have grooves for a great grip. These clamps will work with stiles from 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide and up to an impressive 1-1/2 inches thick.
